Hi!
Does anyone know any nice instructional videos for keyboard shredding?
I'm in a metal band and I'd like to learn to play this kind of stuff for some soloing: http://pl.youtube.com/watch?v=H9bHpigYKVY
I'm a self-taught player, been playing for a few years and my fingers are already pretty fast and I can do some of that stuff but my "arsenal" is kinda limited for now and I'd like to learn more.
So I'm looking for stuff like this, only for keyboard instead of guitar:
http://www.shredacademy.com/lessons/free.htm
Wink

Looking for both free videos and DVDs that I could order.

Scales and runs. I also agree with the Hanon exercises.

I was looking at the video on YouTube. I doubt I'll even come close to that in term of virtuosity in my life time.
Crying or Very sad

I have the feeling shrike is not that for off though.

just started with Czerny's stuff and loving it
the exercises sound cool by themselves and are composed in a way that forces me to use the right technique
recommended to anyone and everyone

Practice! I'm not gonna stop until I'm at least as amazing Razz Laughing
Now seriously - I believe most of the skill comes with strong will and determination that makes you practice all the time. If you don't believe you can do that - you can't. I'm pretty sure I can - someday Smile I know it's gonna be tough but who cares Wink
