I bought a second hand red karma (in order to have a second one as I wanted to play silmutaneously my Karmalab /EJ2 sets).
This second machine includes Pro rec and kidnepro sets: but I'm quite disappointed; I thought those sets of combis were karmaified, but they're not!
The sounds are quite good, but everything sounds static!
Does anybody knows about them? Crying or Very sad Question

Just that after the EJ2, and Karmalab sets, those seemed second rate.
Confused

Laughing Hey, Stephen. Thanks for that acknowledgement. How have you been? What's been happening with your music/band?
Cheers,
Eric

Hi Eric,
Busy as usual, but lovin' every minute of it! Thanks for asking.
How are you doing, still healthy?
I ran into Francois at KLF, and he now owns a Karma, you should remind him about your great Combi collections.
Cheers my friend.

Health-wise, I'm doin' fine, but I had to have day surgery last Friday and I'm back on the mend. I've got a few more years of combi creation in me yet.... Rolling Eyes

I suppose Francois will find out soon enough. And their should be a few more goodies for the Karma coming, but I can't say too much more - NDA your know. Wink

All the best of the season to you and yours.
Cheers,
Eric

I had missed that thread.

I've found out a bit, insofar as the Karma I got came with the three KL sets, chem 1, 2 and reinc 1. Excellent stuff, and the Karma is still a great tool. The only thing I'm going to add at some point is a foot pedal so I can program/play more chords than just the 4 chord buttons.

I've started creating my own karmafied grooves based on midi loops I was using. Guitar licks are first on the agenda. Perhaps I'll upload something depending on how satisfied I am with my work. But I'm still learning the intricacies of Karma software, so it's not anytime soon I will compete with Eric or Stephen !
