Hello there,

I just purchased my Triton and am very much a novice to its endless sea of features. Therefore, my question is very basic:

How do I create a brand new combination (without editing an old one)?

I am looking primarily to map out different sounds on the keyboard to different zones so that I don't have to rapidly switch while playing live. I already know how to editing an existing combination, but can someone shed some light onto how to write a completely new one?

Thanks so much in advance.

-Shaun

well... once you'll have overwritten a combi sounds, effects, maybe controllers and zones you'll have for sure a brand new combi...
regards, Lorenzo

I'm sorry, I should clarify.

Is there any way to create a new combination without overwriting anything?

uh, sorry for the misunderstanding...
There is only D127 combi called something like init combi... so you must save your work and then overwrite a combi...

you're welcome... you have to notice that this korg feature could seem a little strange... many people don't want to overwrite combis etc etc, but after a first moment of this feeling they usually feel blessed by the fact that there aren't factory unwritable patches (except for gm) that leads to a real freedom expecially when you start to program your own combi and programs for gigs or studio purpouse.
Regards, Lorenzo

Just remember to back up everything you have now before you start.

Cool
