Just a little curious... Where / how do you apply for this contract & what does it cost ?

Altho i´m not sure if i could make 1 song each month... but being part would encourage me to do stuff and get more of a reason to comment on others efforts (must say that i´ve listened to each FEB 08 osam, i think... but not commented on every effort). I have to say tho that i´m not the best critic but i hope i am learning.

So, u who know.. Where do i sign up ? Very Happy

You have to meet directly with the moderators of this forum and post an entry fee of $2500 per song. For each month missed you will be penaliz....

Oh, wait. This isn't the Federal Government.

I am sure George will see this. He moderates this part of the forum. But I would read through the stickies at the top of this topic at the very least and see what is involved.

The concept is a verbal/written commitment to write one new song a month for one year.

Oh, the "Osam feb checklist" ? Or the "please help me" sticky ?

Did a "ruthrough" there but didn´t find it.
Seems as everyone has their own space to post their music btw... (as do i)

Pecca: if you can declare posted a tune for Feb (as Feb is about over) you could hook up with us. We want as many people in here as possible. You simply have to declare your intentions to do your 12 songs starting now, so that's Feb-Jan 09 and then when you post your songs you do it under this section (OSAM) and you start a new thread titled your song name who you are and which month it is for, this way we can keep track of all our songs, who has posted and for which months. I will add your name to the list if you want to do this and check your name off on the checklist. If you have just posted a song in the Promote your Music section and wish to use that as your Feb OSAM posting, then just let me know either here or a PM and I'll mark you down. It's nothing very formal but as you see we take this committment very seriously, and those who do this all the way are forever changed in some way as regard their music composition, production, arranging etc. Wherever we're weak it comes out and we learn from each other. So let me know what you decide. You have to get something posted fast if you're going to do this unless you've got something fresh that you've just complete. I wouldn't use an older song as we want fresh projects for this mostly. But you're the judge there.

OK. But remember that Friday is the final cutoff. So if you do want to, you have to do something by Friday. And of course be willing and able to come up with 11 more songs after that. It's up to you.

Well, you can still share your works in the Promote your Music section so it's not like you have to be a stranger. And feel free to comment in the OSAM section. All the comments we get are very helpful.
