Hi Everyone.
Never really intended to make this image, sort of just started out fooling around and many hours later I found myself starting to like what I saw, so I kept going.
So anyway, here's a German U-Boat docked.
Hope you like it.
Regards.

why does it always have to be a german u-boat? Could be a Jap, yank, brit, whatever... LOLOL
Superb Stuff Sharp. You must have a helluva Computer there to render such without going to the pub in the meantime.
I am still on my old maschine here, but I intend to switch to a Mac this year. |

Just can't help myself. I really like this submarine.

Yeah the CPU requirements are totally ridiculous for an image like this, so you really need to share the load between as many computers as possible across a network. I'm up to 5 PC's right now, and the 6th one on the way is going to be a freaking monster of a PC altogether.
vEddy has been helping me out and I'm not far off firing up a new quad core machine kitted some seriously insane power. Really looking forward to seeing that in action.

Really ?. Wow, that's a rather big change. Your PC is lighten fast as it is so I would have thought that there would be no need for you to be even looking for something at this stage, let alone a Mac.
Any big reason why your jumping over to a Mac ?. Vista and XP are pretty rock solid. Windows 7 really looks the business too. Way smaller.
Regards.

Who drives the bike for the generator? LOL
6 PC's comes easily to something around 3KW, if not more, some of them have ridiculous PSU's like 1KW.
Wow I had no idea you had to use that much processing power for it. I wonder what a single mac with 8 cores and something like 16 GB Ram would do with that.
However, the more the better seems to be the concept.
I just played a game on the xbox called "mass effect" unbelievable, I would say 10 years from now, they just render Schwarzenegger and it looks the real thing, well, scratch that I prefer Charles Bronson. |
