|
|
Hi to all great members,
I need to adjust the sensitivity of the After Touch Controller of my M1.
The way it is set right now I have to sit myself on the key in order to be enabled .
In other korg instruments (Trinity and Triton) you can find this setting as After Touch Curve in Global Mode.
Unfortunately i can not find the respective setting in the Global Mode of my M1 so i suppose that this setting has to be done in each program individually through the Edit Program Menu. However i haven't managed to locate it.
Please let me know if the After Touch Sensitivity is editable in M1 and where i can find the setting.
Best Regards
Nikos |

And also...
What do you have to say regarding the After Touch sensitivity in default level (if it is editable after all) in comparison to the default level of instruments like Triton, Trinity, PA series etc?
What i think is that the M1 After Touch Sensitivity is much less so that's why it is enabled after harder key presure than on other instruments.
Can you please advise?

After all i don't think that aftertouch sensitivity is adjustable via the Global menu of the M1 but still i need your opinion about the effort on activating the aftertouchin comparison to triton, trinity or other synth.
Can you please give me a clue? Were M1 Users ever complained about this issue? Does the aftertouch sensor wear off easily?
Please let me know |

Ok dont bother...
I did it myself. I have opened the synth and located a small board with two pots (100kOhms and 10 kOhms) Those two are the Gain and Offset settings of the After Touch Controller.
I have adjusted them according to my taste and everything works ok again. |

Hi.
Try going to the AMP page in PROG mode and reducing the "AMP Modulation" value.

No Sharp, this is not the case.
I dont care about the setting of intensity or frequency or whatever of any parameter.
What i am talking about is the sensitivity of the controller itself. This is editable in Trinity or Triton from the Global Menu but there is no such setting in any of M1 menus
Anyway I solved it making necessary adjustmemts to 10k and 100k Gain and Offset pots after locating the respective board inside the M1.
Of course i have checked with a midi monitor in order to check if the setting of the offset made the keyboard to transmit midi messages at the same time with Note On.
That was very helpful in order to set it correctly.
Thanks for your help anyway.
If anybody would like to do it just let me know. I will be happy to help
