Thanks for the comments all. I agree that there are some thickness issues at the end. I was honestly SO glad to discover something that might work here that I missed some details.
Should have a FINAL mix up this evening. Thanks again!

O.K. Jon....,
BUT please don't lose the intensity ...no change, would be better than losing the heart-twist, you know, of course....

Hi Jon.... ,
Been sitting here waiting, in a sense...I am just not able to talk about this, it's far too perfect for me to do more than wonder...it's just the way I am...
Thank you for doing this great song and putting it up again for us!!! It IS smoother and more controlled without losing much if any of the greatness...This is the prize I get for coming back on board.. just to hear it...
My Best Regards!! John |

Splendid Such a joy to listen to.
Nothing to "complain" about. Just a great edition ready for the radio
I love the very few "tiny imperfections" in the singing. Makes it so much more authentic. _________________ Korg R3 - Korg 01W/fd - FL StudIO, Harmor, reFX Vanguard, Toxic 4 (BioHazard), PoiZone, Sytrus, Adventusdf...etc |

You've re-arranged the piano, and other parts too, this has a totally new feel now!
It the same song, but what a change around, almost like this is the studio version, and the original takes were live. _________________ Chordial |

I think that is much better than what I heard last night. It just has a more balanced space and doesn't have the same competition between leads. I say let it be with this version. What I think is interesting this time thru is that I realized that the melody that keeps repeating when the drums kick in is a much longer repetition of a melody hook that's earlier which you quickly resolve the first time around with a high note which takes you out of the loop. The second time you keep repeating this and building and developing and then it's a whole nother set of high melody notes that rip your heart out to bring this to a rousing finish. I like how you held out the last notes of the music just enough not to leave us hanging, as we're quite breathless ourselves for having listened to this (dare I say) climax of sound. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

Thank you everyone again for the feedback and kind words that help me get this song to a status of "move on Jon, there is nothing more you can do for this patient"!
In the past I would have created some huge vocal diversion to take your mind off of the weaker ending vocals, so this was a nice experiment for me, and very educational along the way. I am glad that I can begin work with April's song a little more intimately now.
