|
|
Hi,
I have some questions concerning Wavestation A/D:
1. Is there a software editor for the Wavestation A/D besides WSEDIT for PC or Atari?
2. I want to make a backup of the WS sounds. But with the option "ALL" the WS doesn't send sysex data to my sequencer. Single patches can be sent without problems. Any idea?
3. My WS was delivered with a standard manual. Is there something like an addendum which describes the A/D features? (audio inputs, vocoder)
4. Is there a list of differences between os versions 1.01 and 1.25?
Greets,

I don't know if you read my late reply...
As far as I know, you can use SoundTower's WS Edit.
It sounds strange that your Wavestaton doesn't do full sys-ex dumps. Did you try the "ALL DATA" sending option?
I have some manual in PDF for the Wavestation... Write me privately if you need them.
About OS differences I can't tell you what really changes. My Wavestation A/D are 1.25. By the way, I don't think an upgrade today is avaliable... 1992 -> 2008 too late. _________________ Life without music would be a mistake |

i dont mean to derail the OP's thread, but wanted to know if anyone herre can help me figure out what is happening with my A/D.
when i put it into MIDI SYNC with a midi clock from live 7 i get a sequence running far faster than the intended 75 bpm . has anyone experienced anything similar to this at all?
thanks a bunch ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Michelet,

Yes. When recording the Wavestation sends one sysex entry with only one patch inside, like dumping single patches.

That would be great! I only have the manuals for the standard Wavestation.

Ok, upgrading seems to be impossible

Does the sequence come from LIVE or from a WAVESEQ of the WaveStation? The WAVESEQs consists of several STEPS with individual STEP LENGTH. What is the STEP LENGTH of those STEPS?
