Well Spoken Jon,
Thanks for the timely reminder. It is of note that while there were prolific composers...the best work, classic and popular seems to have come much like the old band..
Blood, Sweat and Tears...

Hi!!
First of all...
I must say a great EXCUSE ME to all the OSAM community...
I'm always reading and listening all posts and songs, but I don't really have the time to write (music or words )
Trust me: I've received my Trinity rack, the DI-Tri option, the Novation ReMOTE 25 SL with all its software, and still haven't had the time to install or use nothing of the above!!
It's incredible, I've got tons of ideas running in my mind, but it seems I don't have enough time for all: 12 hours out for the office (go out at 7.30 in the morning, coming back at 19.30 in the afternoon), time to eat and to take a shower, and then it's time to go out again for reharsals (with my band or with my choirs...)
Guys, it's really a challenge, but I'm sure most of us are in my condition, with familty, with childs, with a lot of different problems, but you're all writing your music, so why should I don't do it, too?!?!
My entry for the month will arrive on time, it MUST arrive on time...!
I'm just so sorry I can't contribute as much as I would wanted to do

Hi!
Oh, no thanks a lot for your kind words.
I feel so much encouraged, because I do know a lot of you have much less time for music than me, so if a lot of you can find a way to compose something, why should I can't?!?! OSAM is a great way to force me to create something, it should happen I would stay one year without write a single note, so I'm more than happy to be part of that group.
Now I have to play the piano, I've got a concert saturday night with some Opera Singers, so I must study my parts...
If I'm not so tired I'll start write putting togheter some ideas I had under the shower a few minutes ago (damn, always when I can't take not of them!! )

I am still here
A little behind, due to work etc. (blah blah blah, same for all of you folks too I am sure) and a completely insane plan I have for this month's song.
Anyone who knows me will be very surprised by this month's song ... even I am surprising myself here ... and scaring the hell out of myself at the same time. This song is a "first" for me and I am doing a few things that I've never done before. It could well be a total disaster, but I am feeling fairly confident that what I have done so far will actually work out well and it won't be too laughable, despite the "firstness" of it all. I would never have done this without the "spirit of the OSAM".
I am way behind on listening and commenting, but tracks like Jon's solo vox/piano piece certainly haven't gone unnoticed and inspired me (in part) to indulge in my current piece.
I look forward to posting something soon and hopefully will have it all done for the end of the month. Then I'll be able to relax a little and take in other folks March works.
Thank you !
Daz. |

Like John, I can hardly wait.
I wish I could set myself free musically this time, maybe as time goes on. _________________ Chordial |

Daz I am looking forward to it! And everyone else..hang in there!
Next month is already a challenge. Not because I am trying anything new, but rather trying to get back to the style intended for the eventual CD I am working on. To top matters in a bad way, my voice is just not recovering from the past month's sickness. It is as if I have lost about 6-7 notes of higher end range. And even on notes below that I am getting WAY too much cracking and am tired after a single track being dropped.
Who knows?!
Anyway looking forward to whatever you guys can give us this month!
