no , not at all .

M.I.D.I : Musical , Instrument , Digital , Interface ... thats what it means , and all midi cables are for is channeling/syncing midi signals ... NO SOUND COMES DOWN THEM Wink

You need a smartmedia memery card n reader to load everything into then stick it in your esx1 .

If ur fresh to midi n think its the " be-all and end-all " , chill because its really only there for when YOU need it , whether it be time-syncing between gear or channeling your keyboard to other gear... its simply a go-between tool essentially .

Hope this helps . Anything else just PM me . L8tr Smile

I just relized that the quote that i added in my last post said can't instead on can Embarassed Wacky Laughing
but now i under stand what you ment by SM card

So I need to get a sm reader and plug it in via ...some cable that im not sure of... to my sound card's ...some cable that im not sure of... output. Then I need to get my samples together via esx organiser, load it all on to the sm card and stick it into my ESX-1, then download it onto my ESX-1 Hard drive?
A: What cables do i need?
B: What SM card should i get and what SM reader should I get (i need somwhere in the middle between quality and price)
C: What will it cost me in CA$H (USD)?
