It's just the samples in RAM that are different Smile

Also you may like to check out the new Pa588 which is an 88-note "piano" with all the sounds and styles from the Pa2x including the excellent new concert piano with damper resonance and pedal noise effects. That piano is superb, and is not on the Pa800.

Reading the pa800 manual and the pa500 one i see that the pa800 has a grandpiano Rx instead on the pa500 it talks of a simple "grandpiano". Are these different?

I've red the PA500 also uses the RX technology known from
the other top KORG keys.

In Germany PA500 sells for aro 1200EURO
In Singapur it goes for just 700EURO.

What I don't find so amazing is:
- no sampler
- less speaker power
- toy design.

it cant be a PA2X just cheaper.

Of course. But it should'nt be designed like a childrens toy.
The Chief of design - and he is responsible for all italian KORG
keys - should learn from Roland.
