M1 not responding to MIDI in Logic8, but Wavestation is!?

Hi, all...

I'm having an issue where the M1 passes validation, lets me instantiate it and even makes noise if I play the little keys in the plug-in with my mouse, but it WILL NOT respond to the midi coming into the track it's on.

I thought maybe this was some sort of configuration/routing problem, so I put a different plug-in on that track. It responded like a champ. So, I thought, maybe it's the Korg stuff, but Wavestation also responds just fine on that same track.

Is there some sort of preference trashing or other thing/trick I don't know about? M1 worked fine for me in logic last week!!! Aaaagh!
