Hi all.

In the last two weeks I connected my PC to our TV simply to check out what Blu-Ray moves would look like, and I have to say that the experience has really made a massive impact on the enjoyment of watching moves for us.

So far I've watched....

X-Men 3
Black Hawk Down
The Golden Compass.

The Golden Compass being totally unbelievable. The difference a real 1080p signal makes is more than I could have ever imagined. You just can't help enjoying all the detail and the sound so much more than watching DVD's.

Hi Sharp,

a few weeks ago, I installed a top of the range audio/video system at a friends place and yeah, blue ray is flippin mindblowing on the right screen.

Check out "Planet Earth" by Attenborough on Blue Ray, unbelievably good!

Naturally, makes you wonder about DTS Master Audio quality in that context!

Yea, i've got them Smile , a 5 Disk set (£34.00 cheap IMO), there is also a similar disk "Earth" that i've got, and is basically done by asimilar crew/team i think, as some of the footage (The elephants) are exacly the same.
