|
|
Hi everyone, I'm new here from the UK and recently bought a PA500. So far I'm loving it (apart from the keybed) but I was hoping I could assign the "release" function to the assignable slider for quick adjustment of the main voice (I like to set piano release to around 50). This does not seem possible as release is not on the list of assignable controls, perhaps I'm missing something ?
The only way seems to be to edit each individual voice and save it in the user area but this will be a chore, just wondered if anyone knew anything else I could try ?
Many thanks for any help and please forgive any naivity on my part, I'm new to both Korg and arrangers (previously had Roland Workstation).

Hi Fuzzy,
You can assign MIDI controller number 72 (Release time) to a programmable MIDI board such as the Behringer FCB101. THere are many programmable MIDI controller units on the market. CC72 works with the Pa500.
Why not come and join us on the Pa800 Pa2x section? We expanded to cater for Pa500 and Pa588 owners. |
