I have created 4 seperate songs consisting of: Intro, Verse1, Corus, Verse2/End. I used the cue list to compile each part of the song so that each part plays back to back; I then converted the cue list to a new song. Here is where my problem is: I decided I wanted to fade in my drum track with the "realtime control knobs" after I had compiled my cue list into a new song. I started to record and everything turned out marvelously.
Well, I came back to edit my song some months later and I rerecorded a new drum sequence and guess what??? The realtime controls (even after deleting the old drum track) are still recorded in there. It still fades in and out and now that I have a new drum track there it doesn't sound good at all.
My question is this how do I get rid of the realtime controls that I recorded (i used the four little knobs when recording)? I have tried deleting the track that I originally recorded the drums on, I have tried redoing the cue list and converting to song. It seems everything I try to do I get to that part of the song and the realtime controls that I originally recorded wont go away!
Please help. I am desparite at this point.
Thank you,
Mike |

when I get stuck with a control problem, or an unwanted program change etc that is going on in a track and driving me crazy (especially after converting a cue list to a song) I go into event edit and uncheck the notes (as usually the problem is not with the notes I played) because in event edit you can see every single midi thing that's going on in the track, that way if you do have a certain control event that needs to be deleted you can simply tap on it and delete it right there. if you get overwhelmed by all the control #s you see in there you can go into a blank track somewhere even in a new song and then repeat the problem there, such as record another track that has the volume changing or whatever the problem is then see what control # it is that's causing this, then go back to your song and do a erase control data of that specific # and tell it what measures to do this for, i do this constantly, it takes a bit of practice but you get immense control over your music once you get used to this process _________________ George Nelson is 2loose
