Hi guys, just a small query, do dongles work with or in USB Hubs?
namely my Steinberg Key and my iLok dongle?
I know it is a bit of a silly question but I'm about to add Steinberg Key into my iMac system and I wondered if there were any problems regarding this way of working.
any help would be very grateful.

I forgot to say this guys!
I've just got a external hard dirve and need to add it to my Pro Tools setup, finally, and I'm running out of USB ports! _________________ Apple iMac G5 1.9Ghz 1.5Gb RAM 10.4.10, MBox 2 + MBox Mini 2, ,Shure SM58,

I have had an XSkey, iLok and Slinkysoft on an old four-port hub, and a new 7-port hub without any problems.
USB hubs can be notoriously flaky though - avoid the cheap rubbish and get something decent, and you shouldn't have problems. |

Hi Ben thanks for the advice I'll get a good USB Hub and see how it goes, hopefully well.
Again, thanks for your help.
