Hi, this is going to sound like a bit of an odd request, but anyway.

I was talking to a friend that is left-handed and plays guitar last night, for which she's got a special left-handed guitar, and I got to thinking - what would it be like to play a "left-handed" piano (since I'm also left-handed)?

To clarify, basically making the keyboard function so that the further left you played, the higher the pitch got. And middle C would actually be where the E4 note usually sits on the keyboard as a result.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone knows of an effect or similar that would achieve this result? Thanks.

Also, as has probably been done to death on these forums, the stock (and expansion) acoustic piano sounds aren't that great. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of others to try? I've tried a number of the ones available in the download section and they aren't quite the sound I'm looking for. The k-sounds piano 2 demos sound amazing, just wondering if anyone has any experience to report from those?

I've got a Triton Pro X classic (the 88-note variety)

Thanks,

- Chris

Hi Chris

I'm not sure if you could reverse the pitch of the keyboard. If you can create user scales on the Triton, then that might be one way. As far as piano samples go, I use the one in Sharp's Sample Assault. Might be worth sending him a message to see if it's still available.

Great, thanks! It'd be fun to try around. I'll have a look at the user scales options too.

Does anyone have any reports of the k-sounds piano 2 set being any good or not?
