|
|
I have another midi keyboard and presume that I could use that to play M50 sounds at the same time as playing the M50 but I cannot find anything in the manual that specifically shows how to do this.
I presume it is something to do with midi-channel controlling a given program sound.
Can anyone give me a few pointers please?
Thanks in advance

It's simple. Obviously plug a midi out from your controller to the Midi in on the M50.
Open a combi, decide which track/channel you want to play (Which sound), then on the controller, put it on that channel.
Make sure you look thru all the Midi settings on the M50 if it doesn't just start working. There is something in global about Midi, and I do recall something needing possibly switched like "Allow Midi in", or equiv., (Just can't recall exactly).
Mine, I plugged it into my M50, and it was instantly working perfectly. As I
change the midi channel on the controller, it plays the same channel within the combi or sequence.
I hope this helps.
