Anybody has display problems with the wavestation plugin in OS X 10.4 ? None of the parameters appear, they just look like black lines for lack of a better word |

I hope it`s not an usual quirk, because I always wanted to learn to program that thing. |

It works fine here in OS X 10.4.11. Is your problem occurring when you use the Wavestation as a plug-in or as a standalone? Or in both cases? What's your host? Mac Intel or PPC? Have you tried reinstalling?
Kind regards. _________________ Dave Bourke

Hey dave, yup, in both cases as plug-in and stand alone. I´m on a PPC laptop and yes, Ivé tried reinstalling several times.
No one has ever seen or heard about this?¿?¿ It is not a preferences problem either, I recently looked into that. |

Wow! I've heard of this problem before but never seen it. In fact, it might have been in this forum, so you could try a search.
Looks to me like it could be a fonts or language issue. Do you work with fonts other than those installed by the system? What language is your system set to use? If it's not English, you could try temporarily try setting it to English to see if that clears it up.
Another thing you could try is to install MainMenu (donationware) and run its cache cleaning routines, in particular those for User Cache, System Cache (Deep Clean), and Font Caches. Note that after running the System Cache (Deep Clean) you will be required to restart your Mac straight away.
Get it here: http://www.santasw.com/
If that doesn't work, I'd uninstall first, then reinstall. Last resort, contact your Korg Country Distributor for tech support.
P.S. You don't say which version of Tiger you're using and there are 12 iterations of it, from 10.4.0 to 10.4.11. They vary from problematic to great. Also, which version of the Wavestation – KLC or DE?
Kind regards. _________________ Dave Bourke

Which version of LC are you using? KLC-1? KLC-DE? Be sure to update to the most recent version for whichever title you are using. Since you're on a PPC, for KLC-1 it would be 1.1.10 (assuming you haven't updated to the RTAS/UB 1.2) and KLC-DE would be 1.3.1. That will at least eliminate a lot of the variables that come with having an earlier version of the software. At that point, if you're still having trouble you'll want to contact your local Korg distributor for support. |
