Sorry maybe I should have explained in more detail.
There are 4 different formats of styles corresponding to the time when the different keybooards were released. A keyboard can import it's own format and any older formats. here is a list of the formats in order:
iSeries
PA80/60/50
PA1X
PA2x/800
The PA2/800 keyboards can import from all 4 formats
The PA1x can import from iSeries PA80/50/60 and PA1x format
The PA80/60/50 can import only from iSeries and it's own format _________________ Regards

Hi,
Mickb you are right - this has been the situation until a couple of
days ago.
Today I can state: With the latest EMC XT it is now possible converting
PA800 Styles into PA80 or i-series format. But all endings are
cut to 1 or 2 beats, Intros are ok.. And it is still not possible to save Styles in PA800 format.
As FX Sounds cannot be converted, those tracks have to be muted or
modified. As always, converted Styles require much tweaking - same
thing here.
Best regards
Choros

Addendum:
- and it is still not possible converting PA800 since OS1.5
or PA1 since OS3.0, also PA2 styles since OS2.0 cannot
be converted, essential for the Bonusstyles too.
This as a conclusion to the actual situation.
All e-mails to EMC are beeing left without resonance. |
