Hi Folks,
Just a quick question. Do you need to sign up for this section. Or is it open to anyone who might want a critique on their songs?
Thanks |

Hi Dean,
It's a sign up deal, and it started the first of the year, so you would definitely have your work cut out for you just catching up.
The goal/purpose is to write 12 songs, one a month for the entire 12 months, sort of a motivation thing, then we all offer comments on each others songs.
Anyway, it's moderated by 2Loose, maybe he will pop in here, but I hope that helps some, I'd love to hear your music, and there is always the "Promote Your Own Music" section.

Hi Stephen,
Thanks for the info on this section. I really like your stuff! I'm crazy about your studio too! I could Die in that room! Very impressive. Especially your guitar wall! (my main instrument of choice) I've also got a couple of American Strats. A les paul Custom, and several acoustics, but it pales in comparrison to your set-up. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to listening to more of your material.
...Thanks again...
......by the way, is that a set of V-drums in your studio? Now i'm really envious! |

My wife sometimes comes down to the studio to "check my pulse" as she says.
I spend a lot of time there, it's just redone, and I'm delighted with it.
Guitar is my main instrument also, although I did take a few years from it to learn the keyboard, and paid dearly. My fingers retaliated by refusing to work properly for quite a while.
The drum kit belongs to the drummer in our band. He has 3 electronic kits, I'm not sure what brands they are, I'm a horrible drummer, he also has a Mapex acoustic kit he plays on stage.

Thanks for listening,

Yeah, Stephen is right. You have to sign up at the beginning of the year to participate, however, the OSAM boards are open to everyone to listen and comment, so you're welcome to join in on that side. And who knows, if you get more familiar with people that way you may get more feedback in the Promote Your Music section. Usually people who are better known do fare better in that section. So maybe next OSAM you can jump in and join in the fun. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose
