I'm definitely sure that nobody's going to tell me a solution to this, but hey, gotta try.
I've had a problem since the very beginning, the release of KLC Analog Edition. I own both editions of KLC and both of them have their problems, but what really buggers me most is the short-term memory loss of LegacyCell. It just forgets its settings if used with Logic Pro 8.0.2. Every time when I quit Logic, reboot, reload the song, the LC settings are gone, no matter what I do. Even "Save Setting As" is a no-go as loading that data is not interpreted correctly - has any of you found any solution to a problem as there haven't been any updates since (checkin)... what? 2007? Wow.
Any ideas? Korg Customer Service is a no-go, they'll just tell me to install software again.
Actually, I tried to find help for this about 18 months ago or something and nothing. Ah well, see you again in 2011, if all goes well. |

Hi Peter,
Yes, I had something similar happen within Cubase too. I did a bunch of wavesequence editing to fit a piece of music and when I went back to it, the whole bloody wavesquence was gone. Given how long it can take to do a wavesequence this is most irritating. Here is a possible solution that at least allows you to not lose the sound(s). Within the KLC folder, make up a folder for each of your KLC instruments, something like Peter's Wavestation programs. When you are working on a piece and have the sound as you want it, save it to that folder and when you re-load that song, at least you can re-load that specific sound. I know it is a bit of a pain, but that way, you can also build up a set of your own sounds for future uses.
Hope that idea helps,
