Yeah!!!
I like this one very much. I got a little reminder of Dr John's Right Place, one of my all time favorites.
Excellent tracks as always, and it all fits perfectly into a very neat package.
well done....again.
Very Happy
Regards,

this one was my first karma journey, the synth loops on the left and right tracks and a few other tracks were karmafied as well, it's getting a bit lest mystic to experiment there, i find karma isn't too hard in seq mode because you can play around until you get something usable, however, i can't really tweak it in real time in any meaninful way, so it's more like a sophisticated arpeggiator for now, though no arp i know can do the effects this baby can spit out

This sounded much better than the last one - I think it fits your voice more.
I don't really listen to this kind of stuff, but I am actually finding it quite enjoyable.

There is lots of space in your mix, which is a nice feature, with all of the parts feeling very tight - I'd assume that this is down to sequencing and KARMA, although I couldn't guess it was KARMA doing any of that stuff.

I liked the use of the kind of 'duet' between your voice and the synth lead too, thats definately an interesting idea, although I thought it could possibly play something a bit more interesting than just the little scale it does - something more lyrical I suppose.

Overall a great track Smile

it is so interesting to get different takes, i actually don't plan every note ahead of time, and my voice often follows wherever the music seems to take it, so the duet thing is part chance I guess. As for the voice fitting, this took several takes and complete re-writes searching for the right tone and context, i ended up just getting silly and playful and using pieces of my previous versions with the playful rhymes. However, one big difference is that there is no reverb at all on the voice, I simply limited the heck out of it, except of course for the distorted chorus effects and delay sections, but the verse is all me, widened in ozone 4 and then limited to make it strong and dry.

Awesome.

The beats and sounds are just great. Your voice sounded pretty good too. I especially liked the vocals in the end, and the phrase "all the rest of us, for the best of us" (or something like that). It's stuck in my head now. Laughing

My only concern is how the song ended. It seemed like it ended abruptly. I would've ended it with the beat in the beginning.

Great track, nonetheless.

thanks, man. I'm not crazy about the ending myself, and I usually use the beginning as a repeat, that may be just the recipe now that you mention it. Right now it just dies away and sounds somewhat flat.

WoW George...,

Spot on...A tight sound here and a little mysterious to my perception... but fun indeed..

Your usual great eng. and production brings it off well...

It is a G-O-O-D..listen indeed...

My Regards, and thanks, John (ellll) Very Happy

Some have asked to see the lyrics: (and I fixed the ending ??)

Epitaph

Someone’s a boogie woogie
Someone’s a hanky panky
Someone’s a hoky poky
Sooky sooky guy
I need a back scratch
I need a hurdy gurdy
You need a teeny tiny automatic sky

I can’t afford a choo choo
I can’t become a bummer
I gotta ticky tacky fire down below
We were so-so, we were just a show
Did we blow

In the final epitaph
It’s a mystery why we laugh
OO, that fire down below
When you touch me it’s so apropos

Don’t want no humdrum
Don’t want no short shorts
Don’t want no tie died hack MC
Just want another brother just like me
Make it three

In the final epitaph
It’s a mystery why we laugh
OO, that fire down below
When you touch me it’s so apropos

Hypnotizing, we were rising
When love is no solution
So upsetting, so forgetting
It’s in the execution

We got a hippie dippie
We got a black jack
We got a groovie movie harikari coup
We got a mumbo jumbo old taboo
So would you

In the final epitaph
It’s a mystery why we laugh
OO, that fire down below
When you touch me it’s so apropos

What I need most
Is a good host
So you told me so
From the get go

In my epitaph
Let the crowd laugh
Keep ‘em guessing
Till the blessing

In the last reel
Let the scene steal
All the rest of us
For the best of us
