Hi guys,

I would like to know that is it possible to change the original 4 Mbyte NEC RAM for another, bigger capacity (eg. 8 Mbyte) RAM? I have received from Hongkong a part for an instrument and additionally I asked the seller if there is such a 32 pin static RAM and she told me, that CXK584000P-70LL ia nearly the same but the capacity is 8 MByte. What do you think about it? It would work?

Sorry,
Software on the Trinity will only recognise 8 meg of Ram.
So putting in 2 8meg instead 2 4 meg. Will not work.

Cheers Barry

Thanks for your answer. I am really sorry, but it would be a good opportunity to alter the current, latest operation system... I know that this instrument is more than 10 years old, but probably this development could be organized in case of will:-)
