OK...not the most techno-centric guy in the World....

but finding the MS very inspirational, the s/w editor is reasonably competent. It's a lot friendlier and more immediate to use than my soft sampler - and ideal for grabbing found sounds. I have now made a fabulous symphony out of a flushing toilet....

I even got a good result from the much maligned looper yesterday - prob more luck than judgement, easy to trim the sample I was using accurately on the editor so full marks for that.

Main wish is the dials had click stops and it had - & + buttons, but got used to the black art of 'near nuff no sh*t I missed it again' twiddlin' pattern now...

If history will see the MicroSampler as nothing more than a sampler groovebox then that's fine with me. My Roland MC505 had a lot of use - I totally wore it out over 10 years so grooveboxes are good in my book.

Hopefully a lot of people got MSs for Xmas - more posts, more sales - maybe more development. (MS2 pro whatever..?)

Happy Xmas y'all
