Rich, great videos...good job. Honestly your videos are great because you did the best job in covering all of the abilities of this gear out of anyone out there. It was consice and to the point. Also thank you for NOT doing your demo with the damn mic! Using the Kaossilator was a very good call. I had wished everyone else would have done the same.
I'm looking forward to seeing what videos you create for the Kaossilator Pro (don't forget to demo ext control midi note on this one )
This is probably a lot to ask but can you recreate this trick a fellow user is doing? DeadVolume, here on the boards, is doing something interesting with the MicroSampler and his guitar, but has not had the time to video a demo and post on youtube. What he is doing seems really cool if you're a guitarist:
Quote: | You can program the step sequencer to play a groove/melody on the first few keys, and whilst it’s playing back, automatically replace the sample on each key one after the other with an audio source (e.g. my guitar) using AUTO NEXT set to record only those keys.
I can play my guitar’s actual audio as if it was attached to an arpeggiator, by replacing one note/chord/scrape/harmonic at a time, and because the AUTO NEXT cycles round the keys it’s set for, you can just keep changing the notes indefinitely!
I can get some really interesting rhythm patterns and evolving chord progressions, as well as some crazy riffs. It feels like playing with a kind of advanced multitap delay. |
So I was wondering if you can possibly make a demo video recreating what he's doing so the rest of us can really get inspired about the possiblites of the instrument? Thanks! _________________ Korg PX5d
