Welcome to the board and congrats on getting the microSAMPLER.
1) Make sure you've installed the KORG USB DRIVER. The windows automatic driver will connect but not work properly. There's a Soft Editor USB utility in the start/Menu/Programs folder. Use that. Unless you've done that specifically, don't expect the soft editor to work right. File transfer is short. The lights run across the front of the microSAMPLER and then the bank transfer is finished. Anything other than that indictaes the two arent speaking to each other.
2) The microSAMPLER uses wave format. I use 16bit 44100Hz. It could be sample rate or bit depth that's keeping the files from working.
3) Here's the link to the US soft editor and the USB drivers

It's under the microSAMPLER support page, scroll down.
I will be getting a KAOSS Pro too since I love the Kaossilator so much. I will using that combo on the road also. Drums and samples from the MicroSAMPLER and music from the K Pro. _________________
