I need to learn more about drum technique can anyone guide me to a book or vid or site that will get me started improving my technique, which is non existent at the moment?! |

The best thing for you is George Lawence Stone's "Stick Control." (grey cover) Play each exercise 20 times each with a metronome. Use matched grip. Remember-it is better to play something slow but correctly than to speed it up and play sloppy. _________________ Thanks For All Your Help,

for stick and hand control go to drumrudiments.com...all u need are the single,double and paradiddle rolls both open and closed...for hand drumming tabla technique is quite useful,go to the David Courtney website,chandrakantha.com |
