If you've got problems with floppy data missing etc, you can always just download the preload data online.
http://www.korguksupport.co.uk/page.cfm?pageid=331 seem to have the drivers, preload files, and manuals for pretty much everything. _________________ Current Gear: Kronos 61, RADIAS-R, Volca Bass, ESX-1, microKorg, MS2000B, R3, Kaossilator Pro +, MiniKP, AX3000B, nanoKontrol, nanoPad MK II,

just take off the center tray on the bottom of the keyboard, and replace the battery and wala problem solved
the factory preload can be reloaded in the global menu, you dont need ANY floppies or disk, its hard wired
global> top right drp down menu> load preload/demo data _________________

After the replacement of the Calender Battery, I am facing lot of strange issues:
1. all the buttons are not working correctly.
2. I have to press a few times to select banks...etc
3. Once in Program mode, I cannot switch to combi mode, as the combi mode works as "previous"
.... etc etc
I updated the OS to 1.0.6 and reload the prelaod data...still the same problem.
Can anyone help me on this?
Thanks |

Hi,
I get the same 'calender -low' message recently. So I've purchased the Lithium cell.
I'm about to replace the cell but... any last suggestions?
I see ppl getting in trouble changing the battery.
What would you recommend to prevent possible problems?
One last thing:

Thanks for the info, robbin. So I don't need any disks, cards to load TEX into factory reset. Right? |

I agree with bsr2002 [see previous reply] - I bought my board 2nd hand more than a year ago and the message was there then and still is with no sign of a problem. Just hit OK and move on. |

At any rate, once I put the new battery in, I was able to play longer than I had been playing before the "battery low" message popped up so, without checking right away, I'm pretty sure the battery was put in correctly. It's a good suggestion though and one I will check and get back to you. |
Friend, were you able to solve the problem ??? Sorry my english, I'm brazilian .... Thank you very much ... |
