|

Hello.
Just bought the Kp3 Kaoss pad and I got the line out hooked up to KRK rokit powered speakers and got a Heilsound PR20 microphone hooked up to it as well. However, I am not getting any sound from my microphone at all. When I turn on the Kaoss Pad with the mike plug in, the speakers make a sound similar to a helicoptor propeller and the sound stop as I unplug the mike. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on here?
I should note that I'm pretty new with this type of musical equipment. Thanks a lot! |

1. does the mic work elsewhere (it is a dynamic mic)? 2. did u set the line select to mic ? 3. start by having the mic turned down, then increase the sensitivity as you test it. You may be getting feedback so keep the mic away from the speakers as you test it. 4. Move away from the helicopter pad. |

This would be the best solution but seems like the KO-Pro is a bit picky with microphone cable. I have to switch from my regular (usable) quality cable to a very good one to avoid noise. _________________ Korg: Wavedrum/Mini/Global, MS-20m, Volca Beats/Bass/Key, Trinity Pro, Karma + Moss Board, 01R/W, Wavestation/SR/EX, microKORG XL, Kaossilator Pro, iKaossilator, Kaoss Pad Quad, Monotribe, Monotron/duo/delay, DS-10, Korg Collection V2, Korg Gadget, microKEY25
