Nice to see the 61 key in action. And that screen looks just right in its smaller case.

Having had to lug my Oasys 76 around on a few occasions, I love how small & compact it looks!

Regarding the piano sound/SGX-1, the details have not really come out yet, but there are so many variations of the two pianos that many people should be able to find the one that they like.

The system allows for "Piano Types" that are "templates" of the # of velocity layers used, where they split, the amount of key-off, mechanical noise, and pedal noises etc. that can be selected for each Program. So you can get very warm/dark versions of each piano, brighter ones, ones with very expressive/subtle lower dynamics, and more.

Each Piano (German and Japanese) has 16 Piano Type variations that we programmed, some with input from the artists, and then you can offset some of the parameters to adjust to your taste. It's a very effective system and we got a lot of mileage out of it. I'm looking forward to reading your reactions when you finally get to play them.

Regards,

Jerry

Nice demos and great performance (including a simple but effective light effect Wink).
The pianos and EPs are simply great!

Nice to hear some of the 'Other' patches in the Kronos, instead of the same as all the other videos.
