I,m inthe market for a new keyboard and am interested in the Kronos.
or possibly the Yamaha Motif XF. I see a lot of talk on this forum about the Kronos but does anyone actually have one as yet??? I live in New Zealand and it seems like it maybe months before we see one in the county. All I have seen todate are the Nam promotion vids and a lot of topics on this forum from people who have/ haven't got one???

Release date for the Kronos isn't until April.

The release date has not even been finalized yet. Late March/April is the current information, but that could easily change.

The initial shipping date will become more rigid once Korg Japan actually puts units on a boat to start the long, slow journey to other countries.

No, the only people who got to play the Kronos are high level Korg workers, so if anyone at forums say "facts" about Kronos, it probably came from those workers and that isn't a neutral opinion... Another explanation is that they talk about a feature of the Kronos which is not new, and featured other Korg synth, not all the engines were new, and the person own(ed) the old synth with that feature.
