Another post was looking for dimensions, which I hadn't run across before.

Note that the product page is up - at least partially. Specs, but no docs yet, but it can't be too far behind.

Very odd that the OASYS is not even listed on the Workstations menu.

Not really. It has been discontinued.

Oddity is compounded by the fact that it IS still on korg.com - under workstations.

Not trying to second guess Korg's motives. Just interesting to see the first crack of light coming to those who dwell in darkness.

At Korg UK, it's on the discontinued products page:

http://www.korg.co.uk/products/discontinued/discontinued.php

Same at Korg Germany:

http://www.korg.de/produkte/fruehere-modelle.html

I'm really surprised that Korg USA continues to have it shown as a product, while they seem to have hidden their "discontinued products" pages (which I believe they used to have).

I'm more surprised that the Kronos is not listed on the Korg Germany homepage.

Even though I'm an OASYS owner, when you read that feature set, laid out in front of you like that, you realise what an absolutely staggering instrument it is. The list of features is absolutley enormous.

I hadn't realised that EXs2 is still on offer as well as the new SGX - very nice touch.

Another apparently very exciting feature is the capacity to house up to 4GB of RAM for user samples/sampling (but you must not load all EXs' in that instance). So the capacity to hold user samples is very large by workstation standards, and if the case will allow for the likes of Sharp's OASYS ASSAULT and KARO Sample Libraries to be loaded, for example.

It's on every other KORG site in the world though. Even KORG Japan.

There is a joke here in Germany, that revolutions normally don't happen here, since it is forbidden to step unto lawn(s). If we still got 1989 going, it probably was due to the fact that there were enough streets available. Laughing

Perhaps I should phone Korg Germany and tell them that their attitude is a bit weird and outdated?? Wink

Perhaps I should translate your German thinking into a more English-friendly understandable version: Smile

There is a joke here in Germany, that demonstrations normally don't happen here, since it is forbidden to step onto grass in public areas. If we still have "1989" happening here , it probably was due to the fact that there were enough streets available so there was enough space for all the demonstrators.

Perhaps Stephen would translate your German thinking into his own German-understanding of how he thinks Germans speak literally: Smile

Zere ist a joke here in Shermany, dat revoluzions normally don't happenink here, zince it ist forbidden to step unto der lawn(s). If we still got der 1989 going, it probably vaz doo to zer fakt zat zere ver enough streets availabool.

I know the joke with revolutions (we had none besides 1989), not demonstrations, but as you like...

I won't comment on the level of completely outdated silly old "Kraut" cliches in the US. Wink
