Hi, I read in another thread that someone was having problems with some of the keys which I'm having as well. It seems that a few of the keys in the last octave need to be pressed slightly harder than the others to be triggered. I know it's not a velocity issue within the samples themselves since I've set them all to zero.

Now, I just ordered this keyboard new through mail and replacing it would be free, but I would have to pay for the shipping. I haven't looked inside the unit yet, but I'm trying to see if this is a common problem and would be an easy fix? I remember cleaning up a Nord Lead in the past that had the same exact problem, but I had visual instructions for that from the internet.

Anyone else have this problem?

I figured out exactly what is causing the problem. Underneath the keys is a white velvet-like strip which feels like it's made of wool. It's there so that the keys don't come down with so much friction and have more of a cushion feeling when you press them. However, since the strip is made of fabric, there were a few sections that were a bit thicker than others and sometimes stopping the rubber triggers beneath the keys from making contact with the board. By pulling off the strip, flattening it down more with a hot iron, then putting it back on with a little bit of adhesive, I got all the keys working fine again, plus they feel more solid now and less bouncy.
