I'm using the MS as a midi keyboard with Reason. It works perfectly, but when I want to play Redrum kits I have this problem: this kind of samples, like percussions, are usually in the lower octaves (which I confirmed using a virtual midi controller, and the Redrum samples work). The thing is that I don't know how to "octave down" the MS when is used as a midi controller.
Thanks for the help! |

I don't have Reason, but I figured out how to do this in Ableton. Look around and see if there's any MIDI Effects or settings within the program which you can apply to the track that contains the drum kit. What you need is somethin to adjust MIDI Pitch. This will manipulate the incoming MIDI notes to be up or down however many notes you need. Within Ableton, dropping the MIDI pitch down to -12 does the trick for me. |
