Error rename internal HDD disc, before rename format disc.
Please restart korg and start view invalid disc, before reset and format disc.

Instaling new operating system, resources data..., and no change no rename.

name will remain unchanged !
There will always be the name of the factory!

Error rename internal hard disc!

Hi Tony,

I'm answering you in public, because these answer might be of some use for other users too.

- Re: The HDD error after renaming teh system disk

What happened is that you renamed the system disk, and the OS allowed you to format it. As a consequence, the system disk can no longer be found. In a forthcoming OS release we will prevent renaming the system disk.

To solve your problem, you must reformat the disk and reinstall it with the "Pa3X_res_v100.zip" package you can find in our web site:

http://www.korgpa.com/en/support/products/arrangers/pa3x/pa3x-software.html

Please carefully follow the included instructions.

- Re: PCM Samples not saved with a Save Single Sound operation

With the operation you described, PCM Samples are not saved. You are only saving Sounds (that are pointing to PCM Samples, but do not include them).

To save PCM Samples, you must execute a Media > Save All operation, and be sure the PCM Samples option is selected when the relevant dialog box appears.

This is described on page 230 or the User Manual (page referring to the English version).

- Drum Mapping not changed from Variation 1

This is indeeed a bug. We have already fixed it in an internal build, and will be part of an official release due on the forthcoming weeks.

Best regards,
Paolo

Hi Paolo

1st Problem:In the ZIP file to www.korgpa.com operating system lacks PDF manual.
I did a fresh install only the plant operating system and nothing has changed. Happening is what I wrote.
And when starting Korg Pa3X slider on the screen does not move.

Installing data resouces slider is moved at the start.
Rename internal HD I after 4 unsuccessful attempts to stop doing.
From your report if I well understood the right to disable this feature?
I think renaming the Internal HD.

2nd problem:
PCM Samples not saved with a Save Single Sound operation
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vt_0UVz_nb4

On Korg Pa800 - Pa2X user to save single sound samples can also save yourself a sound! and saves it to the sample data for the PCM sound.

Indeed, if the sampled sounds saved as PCM data to load in a different instrument sound bank install but the sound will not be read because it lacks PCM sample!

What also saving space when it is useless?

1 more question. Why do the PA800 and Pa2X works and PA3X not?

You are right.
Through the Save All it works correctly.

What if I want and need to save only one sampled sounds - a tool??

Instead of 70 megabytes All I have created a backup of about 3 megabytes So it can save space.

Description on page 230 writes about but it does not work.
Can I send you a video that I'm right.

Drums mapping - OK wait for repair

what do you think?

For ozdaniel(AD)

My Korg Pa800 with OS 2.01 is working OK, Save single samples sound OK.!
Save All take OK!

So let's try it has to work.
When one backs sampled sounds so must save the data for the PCM sound.!

I insist that there is an error when it is not working.

I just downloaded the factory reset file (Pa3X_res_v100.zip), and the manual is there. Please download this file.

What you are doing in the video is saving a single Sound. No PCM Sample is saved with this operation. The only way to save PCM Sample in native format is by using the Save All procedure. If you need single PCM Samples of Multisamples, please use the Sampling > Export Sample or Export Multisample operation.

Best regards,
Paolo

So I have to be understood that this feature has been removed from PA3X?

And in the future will not be?

Thank you

The feature you are describing (saving a Sample together with a single Sound) has never been in any of the Pa-Series instruments. So, no, we didn't remove anything.

Best, Paolo
