I think I may have found 3 interfaces I'm interested in.

In your opinion what is a better quality, and better sounding interface?

Line 6 POD Studio UX2?
The M-Audio Fast Track Pro?
focusrire Saffire 6 USB ?
Also, what is better for recording wavedrum on ?

amplifier: denon
monitor speaker: Q acoustics

thnx

welcome to the forum
there is probably nobody on this forum who can give you 1st hand info
each of the interfaces should work ok with the WD (line out signal 2x mono)

so you might do some googling +forum /+review
and read the 3 and 4 star reviews (only)

my serious 2 cts:
-solid ASIO driver
-direct monitoring of your live signal

Avoid M-Audio. Their drivers are the spawn of Satan.

I e a presonus firebox. I bought it about 5 years ago. I thought it worked well but if I had it to do again and because I use my Mac I would look hard at the apogee stuff.

Apogee's rep is as much from the mic pres as it is from the ADACs... for line level signals I've never been real happy with their price/performance ratio.

I'm using a Steinberg CI1 at the moment, which is a rebranded Yamaha box. It's nothing fancy, but it does wot it sez on the tin. The ADACs are as good as they get for the price point, and the pres are surprisingly transparent.

What you're really asking is what interface you should use to record a modern stereo line level non- analog synth....

I'd pick focusrite from your list but in real life save for something better ( I use RME)

For more info you'll ever want to know, go to gearsluts.com Wink
