|
|
When I'm editing an effect and I play it back, it just plays back the original sample, not the sample with the effect I just added, so this kind of makes it a pain if I have to send it to the microsampler and play it from there every time I want to hear how the effect sounds on that sample. There must be some button somewhere but I'm missing it.....any help????
Thanks! |

Unfortunately, the editor will not play the effects. The editor plays samples since they are a sound format which computer can easily load and read, the effects though would require some kind of emulation.
What I do is plug my MS into my USB audio/DAW setup so that I can monitor the sounds from the machine itself. Just press "Transmit" after every tweak on the editor and the MS will be updated. You could also just hook an amp up to it as well. _________________ Roland Juno-60, SH-101, TR-606, MC-505, Casio CZ-101, Yamaha DX100, DX11, Kawai R-50e // Korg R3, microSTATION, Monotribe, MS-20 Mini, SQ-1, minilogue, electribe sampler, Volca series: Bass, Keys, Beats, Sample, FM, Kick, Moog Theremin |

That kind of sucks! But hey, everything else on the MS is pretty much perfect for me so I guess I can't complain. What you propose is what I thought I would have to do to get around that problem....thanks!!!
I just discovered using the MS as a keyboard by sampling middle C sounds and it works great, I'll be using it as a live instrument mostly so, that's great. |
