Thanks to all on the forum for providing information, innovations and inspiration on the WD. The underground development is wonderful!

I do have a couple of questions for Freestock or anyone else that might have the answer.

Is there a maximum length for the loops you can create? Also have you played with a faster mSD card? I'm curious if a faster card will load patches any faster. I don''t think the wave drum is a speed demon when it come to loading patches in real time.

Thanks
Dean

I think he mentioned something about speed in his video and covered loop length in one of the threads. I could be mistaken, I am sure he will post at some point, pretty happ to help us it seems and doing great work.

I couldn't find those answers. I'll check again. I think Freestock said he had not tried the speed of loading in the video. I should rewatch that one anyways.

752 kO means 752 kilo Oktet (or similar) ,
which is the French word for kilo Byte
the most important loading speed is from A/B/C 1-4
and this does not depend on the card speed ,
but these sounds are preloadad to some kind of RAM memory,
during boot procedure
..so at last the card speed is not so much important for the "Live Mode"

That was my fear. There is indeed room for improvement on the design on our beloved wavedrums.
