Funny, yesterday as I was commenting on a few songs here I didn't have anything done. But I spent a few hours that night and a few more today and finished a song real quick.
It's an orchestral song that I completed using my Triton Extreme. I haven't completed anything on that thing in awhile, especially any orchestral songs. It's been a few years. But again I finished this, and am hoping that I can continue this concept song every now and then.
It's simply called Soundtrack Pt. 1. No real objective...just wanted to capture the feel of a movie soundtrack (this in particular almost sounds like Inception). So this is sort of a main theme or intro.

I like the sound quality of your piano here. When the strings come in it's very dramatic. Overall a nice sound. It gets nice and big by the end. Other than that I don't have any critiqueing suggestions on this sort of thing. I guess to further develop you could create some dramatic peaks and valleys with further treatments, like a portion with some deep cellos or something. I'm putting up an ambient piece this time, almost in the same vein as you, I don't have any actual song inspirations so I'm also experimenting, which I think always is a good thing. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

Thanks George.
Yeah I mean there will be much more development with the melodies as I progress into this (hopefully I do). And yes, I love experimenting with different things. Haha, right now I'm even working on a rap beat with my friend here. Not anything serious whatsoever, but it makes you think outside of the box.
I'll listen to your piece once I have a bit more time. Hopefully others do too, this forum is pretty quiet at the moment. _________________ Like my Facebook Page!
