Hi Fellas,
I'm thinking of picking up a Triton rack. The gentleman said he doesn't have the original disks. Is it essential to have them.
Also, if I pick up two of the exb-pcm boards (06/07 and 0Cool is there enough factory memory to install and play these boards or do I need more memory?
Thanks Frank

Anything you need (floppy-wise) is available online. Once the latest OS is on there and you install the stock sounds (assuming you want to do that), you'll never use them again.

Memory is only used for sampling. I gigged one of my Tritons with NO memory in it for years. I never use samples - especially live so I yanked it. You could fill every expansion slot the Rack allows and you'd never need to worry about your RAM. They are independent of each other.

Thanks McHale,
Just to make sure-----If I purchase the exb-pcm boards do I always need to install the disks along with the boards or are the boards enough?
Thanks again

you would need to download the disk files for the new exb boards.
you can get them on korg.com or i think in the downloads section here

After you download, can you get the data into the Triton without using the floppy? I have no way now to get the data on a floppy. See my post please.
I just need to get the data for an expansion board I have installed, but have lost my disk. Also, I have no floppy drive on my newest comp.
Peace
