Ok I'm a total noob, been trying to find this information from intense google searching but I'm still not 100% sure.
I've been messing around with ableton for a while now and have been using my qwerty keyboard to play VSTs, using it as a midicontroller? Not sure think this is the term.
Will I be able to do this with the keyboard on the microsampler and is it easy enough to do?
So I can load, say a minimoog, vst in ableton, play a little riff using the minimoog and can mess around with all the features (oscillators, etc), record this on ableton--- then play this back into the sampler and sample a couple of those riffs and assign them to separate keys?
Sorry if this is a pathetic question, I'm actually a bassist and want to use it to make some electronic "jam along to" tracks and take it from there. Thanks! (Also sorry if this has been asked before) |

Sorry just another quick question to add, will I be able to use this as an audio interface,? If so what kind of latency can I expect, save me unhooking mine when I jump from PC to laptop. |

You can set up the microSAMPLER (as a MIDI controller) to control the playing of the VSTs in Ableton. You could then sample what you recorded in Ableton to individual keys on the microSAMPLER, depending on length of what you recorded. You can section up loops however you want in Ableton and put them on individual keys.
I think that should answer your question if I understand you correctly.
It isn't an audio interface. It is only a keyboard sampler with effects and MIDI. _________________ Korg Gear: Electribe 2, microSAMPLER, Mini Kaoss Pad 2, monotron, nanoKey, nanoKontrol2, nanoPad2
