Apologies in advance as I'm sure there's a simple solution to the issue at hand.

Just picked up the Wavedrum (sounds fantastic through quality headphones, btw), however, when running 1/4" instrument cables from the L and R outputs directly to the L and R inputs on the Simmons DA200S, I'm getting NO sound from the amp.

Volumes are turned up on both the Wavedrum and the amp, and still nada. What am I doing wrong here? Am I using the wrong type of cables? Perhaps a setting on the Wavedrum I need to activate to produce live sound? I'm relatively new to e-drums, so I'm hoping this a rudimentary fix.

Any suggestions are welcomed. Much appreciated!

Something doesn't sound right here.
The first thing to check for with something like this is usually the cables but the fact that your using two different ones makes it unlikely that they'd both be bad.

A couple of questions:
Did you buy this unit new?
Have you tried plugging anything else into the same amp using the same cables?

There really aren't any default settings that should affect the Main Outputs so I really can't think of what might be causing this as far as the Wavedrum is concerned. It's always a good idea to do a Factory Reset just to be sure all your settings are correct from the get-go.

Page 29 from the Owner's Manual:
Restoring the factory settings
Here's how to return the WAVEDRUM’s program settings to factory default.
Be aware that when you execute this operation, the contents of the user programs will also be rewritten to factory default.

1. While holding down the WRITE button, press the power switch to turn on the power. The display will blink PLd.

2. Hold down the blinking WRITE button for about one second. The factory settings will start being loaded. When loading is complete, the display will blink End.
Never turn off the power while data is being loaded. Doing so may destroy the data.

3. Turn off the power, and then turn it on again.

Let's us know how this works out for you.
