Hi all, there's a pretty good mellotron choir sample in the vintage keys sample pack, but it decays way too quick. I'd rather have it be full on put to key off, kind of like an organ. What's the best way to achieve this? On board editing, or using the editor software? Thanks in advance.

The easiest thing to do to make it be more like an organ is to check the Loop box on the Librarian Editor software. This just makes it play over and over. I am not sure if the sample is built for looping.

Apart from that you could export it and load it into Audacity and copy and paste to extend it.

If you like Choir sample banks check out the FREE one at Acoustic Orchard.

http://www.acousticorchard.com/snd_collections/90 It is on page 3 of the list. Free to download.

Thanks for the tips. I did try the loop hold button on the front panel, but it just replays the sound, and there's a space in between, rather than a constant sustain. Will try the editor and see if that gives a different result. And thanks for the link as well, will check that out too Smile
