Hey folks. This is my first keyboard/synthesizer that I have bought since 1994. I am totally lost. I have never used Midi stuff before but I am very willing to learn. I am a smart guy but I tend to jump in head first and hope that it works. I see that is the case with this thing. Is there an online tutorial or something? |

Did yours come with the Dvd? Should be something on that. |

DVD? Haha, mine included no such thing! That would be pretty helpful. |

On the disc that came with mine (software) were the tutorials. I just popped the disc into my DVD player and watched. |

You can midi it with an arranger keyboard and play accompaniment and use MS sounds. It is one of the first things that you can do with midi _________________ www.youtube.com/synthesizerplayer |

is this helpful?
didn't think so..
read the manual... if you have trouble with anything specific, then start asking specific questions. don't mean to be rude... but honest - look at the responses you're getting ! |

I do agree you have to ask specific questions... and I wait for questions if I can help... we all have to start somewhere though; and this was an achievement for me which will hopefully move onto better things! (read the notes/comments on the video)
I used midi to modify my live recording (in Garageband) via the Microstation VST and because the keyboard is split into Zones, everything was done on one track - which is not very good. There is also another VST "midio" for the Mac - Are you using a Mac?
The best midi software I've used up to now is Cubase LE 5 (PC and Mac) which came free with the Lexicon Alpha desktop recording studio (under £50). I'm not going to spend a lot of money at this point.
I've read the manual and there is stuff there that I don't understand... but sometimes you need to know what questions to ask?
"is this helpful? - didn't think so.."
This might be a bit harsh at this stage.
Soz, it wasn't helpful to you johnroney. _________________ Join this SoundCloud group and share your music: http://soundcloud.com/groups/korg-microstation |
