When I try 'Install Korg USB MIDI Device' I get a dialog box saying 'No device plugged in' and can't seem to get past this. I've had the Microsampler crash a time or two losing all the samples so wanted to back it up on my laptop

forgive me if you've already done this, but close all programs that use midi (including apple's Audio MIDI Setup if you're on a mac).

otherwise, the editor/librarian can't communicate with the microsampler.

hope this helps.

If you have not already tried these:

1. Use another USB lead that you know works.
2. Try on a different computer.

If you try these and still no luck, the problem may be with the MS.

tried another Microsampler and that worked so looks like a fault with the USB connection on mine?
