Hello fellow microSampler users!

NOTE: This method would be recommended for panning multiple samples at once. You can pan individual keys much easier using the SAMPLE PAN feature. This is the L/C/R DELAY method.

For those of you wanting to do panning with your samples, you can do this with the Left/Center/Right Delay effect.
You can resample a panned sample to a new key.
Here's how:

Choose a sample, turn [FX SW] on, press [EDIT], select EFFECT, press [EDIT]

Settings should be set to the following:

{FX.TYPE} = LCR.DELAY
DRY/WET = "WET"
TM RATIO = 012.5%

L DELAY = 1/64
C DELAY = 1/64
R DELAY = 1/64

L LEVEL = [[New Left Channel Volume]]
C LEVEL = 000
R LEVEL = [[New Right Channel Volume]]

C FEEDBACK = 000
TRIM = [[New Mix Volume]]
SPREAD = 127

---------
Examples-
---------

To pan left:
L LEVEL = 100
C LEVEL = 000
R LEVEL = 000
Use SPREAD to adjust pan amount.

For stereo widening effect:
L LEVEL = 100
C LEVEL = 000
R LEVEL = 100
Use SPREAD to morph.

If unwanted phasing occurs, adjust either L DELAY or R DELAY slightly.

When you like what you hear, use RE-SAMPLE SAMPLING mode and select a new (empty) key.
Set SAMPLING settings as follows:

MONO/ST = STEREO
TRIGGER = NOTE ON

At this point, follow these steps if you want to do live panning or adjustments while resampling:
With SAMPLING button blinking green:
Press [EDIT] button to exit SAMPLING options (it will stop blinking)
Press [EDIT], select EFFECT, press [EDIT] to enter effects options (you can do this quicker with [EDIT] + [FX PARAM key])

When you're ready to resample:

Press [SAMPLING] button, it will blink yellow and wait for a trigger.
When you're ready, press the key you wish to resample.
Adjust your pan with [FX CONTROL 1] & [FX CONTROL 2]. This will also be resampled.
Press [SAMPLING] again to stop recording.

You can also resample a pattern loop to a new key, to pan a group of keys as a mixdown to a new key.

Arrow Let me know if this helped you, a simple reply means a lot to me!

Remember to enjoy your Korg microSampler in a new way every time you use it.
