|
|
I just got my brand new PA900. I inserted an fresh formatted USB stick with some midi files in the front but when I touch song on the touchscreen the USB disk doesn't show up, just the internal disk. Any thoughts ? I tried another stick, the same. |

Try looking at the bottom left of the screen. You can touch where it says "drive" and it should show a choice to select USB, else touch "drive" and use the dial to show USB and your files should appear |

Yes I know were the USB is suppose to show up but it doesn't, just the internal disk, no other option in the dropdown list. When I insert the stick, however, it shows a message that a usb device is recognized....I also can format it. |

You say you have midi songs - are you gong to song mode first and then trying to load from USB. You shoudn't go to media to do it |

OK try going to media first and see if you can see the USB there and if you see the songs listed |

Nop Guess I'll have to try another stick unless I need to "unlock/enable" the USB port or something like that ?? |

No I think you may need to format the USB on the keyboard initially. There isn't anything form memory locking the USB |

No the USB option doesn't appear in the drop down list. I'm going to try some other sticks tonight, I suspect that for some reason my scandisk is the problem although it works fine on my computers. |
