Hi i want to use my korg PA50 as a midi controller. I have a usb - midi cable, cubase, i was earlier using korg krome (borrowed) which used direct usb out! now i need help using my old korg PA50 as a midi controller with cubase!
Please let me know the settings in my korg PA50 for it to send out MIDI. and what kind of drivers should i install in my PC for it to work with a USB - MIDI Cable! please help!! urgent. |

You should not need any special drivers , as the midi cable should auto install them on your pc ( it did on mine ).
As regards to the midi out , mine worked ok straight out of the box |

Thanks brian! Any idea about the settings on my PA50 for making it send out midi signals? I have tried a lot of things but it doesnt seem to send out midi! (i know because the red LED does not glow in the usb midi cable interface) |

Go to MENU -GLOBAL - MIDI - In/OUT and set what you need. Your setting you need SAVE as Global setting _________________ KORG PA-800,PA-60, KARMA, M-AUDIO MIDI 2x2, VHM-5, Roland PCR-300, EDIROL M-16DX, BOSS BR-80,Micro-BR, Alesis Q49, M-Audio AXIOM 49 MKII
