Hello Sam,
I am editing, combining styles PA3x Inernational and Musikant on PA600
on factory and favorite positions.
I did not try all functions but...
It is great keyboard. May be some day I could record MP3s direct
Rick, thanks for technical description,
regards, |

Then, they must've changed their policy due to complaints. There's multiple threads of German/Austrian users talking about that issue. _________________ Sam

Nothing will happen , try as many times you like , Pa600 won't recognize it , as all latest PaSeries Bios firmware
will never recognize different OS structure.
But even if you're a skilled programmer owing open source OS , this can't be done since Pa900 OS is hardware supported
for instance compression tool which compresses 192 Mb custom resources to fit in 96 Mb Ram that both keyboard share
not to mention sampler editor that is also hardware supported.
The only almost equal OS in PaSeries were Pa2X & Pa800 OS in hardware level and with two lines of code modification
of Pa800 OS , can share the same 256 Mb Ram ! _________________ Music Conductor - Sound Engineer & Developer - Automotive SMPS/RF R&D - Electronics Engineer

You're making absolutely no sense at all my friend. You've been trying real hard to convince or encourage users to load a wrong software into the wrong hardware.
Why do you keep bringing this up over and over? Why don't you just go ahead and try it yourself! _________________ Sam
